About the book

Immerse yourself in the disturbing, gothic feminine universe of an exceptional artist. Oliver Ledroit's first erotic art book transports us into a world of venomous beauty, where superb women offer themselves boldly and shamelessly to the reader's gaze.

Ledroit develops his 'dark' imagery here by revealing its carnal and seductive side, new lands that he evokes with grace by magnifying women's bodies in a set of exciting and explicit images, where leather and bondage, baroque elegance and dark sensuality intertwine.

This new, expanded edition retains the content and layout of the 2013 edition, with the addition of new, previously unpublished works. It's yet another testament to Ledroit's graphic genius and astonishing sense of mise-en-scène. The publication will coincide with an exhibition of the originals at Galerie Barbier (Paris).

About the artist

Olivier Ledroit is a French comic book artist, perhaps best known for his work on the Black Moon Chronicles series. He has also worked on art designs in the Might and Magic franchise. He has also provided the art for Requiem Chevalier Vampire and Sha, both written by Pat Mills.

After studying at the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris, Olivier Ledroit became an illustrator, collaborating with scriptwriter Froideval to create Les Chroniques de la Lune noire. He then adapted Philip K. Dick's Ennemis mortels and created La Porte écarlate for Soleil. With Mosdi, he signed Xoco, then moved into dark fantasy with Requiem, chevalier vampire. His works, notably Wika, blend fairy tales and steampunk universes, and he stands out for his direct color work, becoming a major figure in 1990s comics.
