Dominique Schoenig - Animaux

Dominique Schoenig is an illustrator from Mulhouse, and a fan using of traditional techniques such as pencils, pastels, and charcoal. Long ago, he fell in love with the animal kingdom and his animal portraits reflect a sense of realism and sweetness.

In this book, Dominic shares with us his vision of Nature, and makes us feel his emotions with his dynamic style.

Halfway between realism and fantasy, he illustrates the fauna, making those endearing animals even more sweet. Big and small are realised in a style that reminds us of our childhood fables. He draws his own tales of Nature with documentary-like precision. He likes to add a dab of colour within his black and white illustrations to highlight the animals in a tender and playful way.
