" Dedicated to Tintin’s creator, Hergé, this exceptional sale comprises 10 lots including the original 1978 cover for Le Journal de Tintin. The design brings together all the characters from Le Lotus Bleu: Tintin and Snowy, Dupond and Dupont, the young Tchang, Mr and Mrs Wang and their son Didi, victim of the poison of madness, among others.
Further highlights include two important drawings for Coke en stock, an original drawing for a greetings card featuring the characters from Le Temple du Soleil, a plate from Quick et Flupke dated 7 May 1935 and a beautiful original illustration for a booksellers’ poster executed in 1945."
