Time Limited Art Prints, (TALP for short - we didn’t come up with the idea!), but let us explain how it works: instead of printing a fixed number of posters and selling them in a few minutes, we put the art print on sale for a limited time and then print the amount sold during the said timeframe. Regardless of who started this idea, it is a keeper! This way, there is no need to stress out if there is a slow Internet connection or if you are not available in the minutes following the launch of the print. Everyone can get their time limited copy!
Geek-Art is very proud to present this new Geek-Art limited edition in collaboration with Fortifem! This duo of artists has wonderfully paid tribute to Dracula's castle as seen in the cult 1992 film...
Førtifem is a source of national pride! Inspired by Gustave Doré, Lovecraft and Slipknot, among others, Jesse Daubertes and Adrien Havet both began their careers as graphic designers. under the name Fortifem, they combined their years of experience, a shared passion for art and the metal music scene and fantastic iconography and made their mark on the French illustration scene. Whether they are creating posters and silkscreens for metal bands or creating illustrations for luxury brands, Fortifem are busy on all fronts. Their latest feat: a complete tarot set dedicated entirely to Lovecraft and the mythology of the Great Old Ones and Cthulhu.
Oscillating between obscure and ultra-colored atmospheres, occultism and pop culture, they don't know how to do much other than draw, so they try to do it well.
The choice of film to honor was an obvious one, given that Coppola's Dracula still fascinates us 30 years after its release. We haven't found a film as major as Dracula that combines romance, horror, history, adventure and fantasy, without having aged a bit. We wanted to pay homage to the film's western scene, and to this formidable model of the Count's imposing, patched-up château. Straight out of a steampunk painting by Kupka, lost in the middle of the ravines, it reigns as an impassive witness to the heroes' desperate race against the twilight."
