Belen Ortega is a Spanish artist born in 1986. As a student at the university of Granada, she was already passioned with Japanese culture. She managed to move to Japan for a year after her studies. Ortega is part of the Kamikaze Factory Studio, a group of authors with whom she’s worked on various projects in various mediums (magazines, posters, websites, and books). She then worked a first time with Sylvain Runberg between 2016 and 2018 as an illustrator for the 3 volumes of Millenium (Dupuis). Since 2021, she’s been drawing Batman for DC comics, and Patriarchy with Sylvain Runberg again for Caurette Éditions.
