Andrea Serio - Seriously

About the book:

Seriously by Andrea Serio, is the new book crowdfunded with Spaceman Project. 

This artbook includes almost a hundred pieces retracing Andrea Serio's professional and stylistic path, from the end of 90’s until today (the first pencil or pastel experiments, influences that were more or less inspired by great artists that Andrea Serio love, interaction with music, movies and literature).  

The pieces are divided into sections (Tarot cards, posts, album covers, tributes to my comic book heros), three of which have a special meaning to the artist: 

The first features all the sketches that have decorated and completed his Moleskine SKETCHBOOKS for years. The second theme is FOG, a series of illustrations that the illustrator has been working on for a long time. The third and last shows his tendency to have fun as an illustrator and cartoonist, as it includes several pages of COMICS, which he has been working on until now, with a great amount of material for the next publications.

About the artist:

Andrea Serio, born in Carrara in 1973, is an illustrator, and has created numerous covers for magazines, books, music albums, and posters. His drawings have been featured in exhibitions like the Turin Book Fair, the Babel International Festival in Athens, Torino Comics, as well as the Lugocontemporaneo music and avant-garde contemporary artist festival. He has worked as a professor at the International School of Comic Books in Turin and Florence.
