Born in the 90s in a small medieval city in Italy, Godiva Ghoul was an awkward child who started drawing at a young age because it was easier than going out and socializing. As a young adult, she began her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, before turning to a private school, where she gratuated with a degree in Illustration. She bought her first drawing tablet in 2016. She still uses the same one today. Godiva always loved the allure of black and white, taking inspiration from comic artists like Crepax and Mike Mignola, as well as classic artists like Goya, Norman Lindsay, and Gustave Doré. She now lives in a secluded monastery, isolated from society, drawing all day with her beloved cats.
