Chamo San
Barcelona, 1987
Chamo San is an artist and draftsman. He studied Fine Arts in Barcelona and at the ENSBA (École National Supérieure des Beaux-Arts) in Paris. After more than 10 years of career, Chamo San has exhibited his work in several galleries in Spain, France, Mexico and the United States.
He has recently published 'Sketched Memories', a selection of more than 1000 small-format drawings created between 2011 and 2021. Bold, urban and with a great talent for drawing, a couple of pens are enough to transform reality and offer his own vision; fragments frozen in time that sometimes border on the disturbing.
Chamo creates artistic scenes in which its members feed each other in a kind of symbiosis. A tireless cartoonist moved by the restlessness of the search, Chamo does not cease to investigate, risk and enjoy, having already achieved an unmistakable style.
