Born in Paris in 1971, Ralph Meyer was very young when he started to cultivate his taste for drawing and stories attending drawing classes at the Louvre in Paris from the age of twelve.
At the age of twenty, he left Paris and went to Belgium to study illustration and comics at the "St Luc" institute in Liège. .
In 1996, he presented his work to scriptwriter Philippe Tome, who invited him to take part in the Berceuse assassine trilogy. Meanwhile, together with other authors, he founded the "Parfois j'ai dur" workshop. This was the starting point for the album Des Lendemains sans nuage, which he drew with Bruno Gazzotti, on a script by Fabien Vehlmann.
In 2008, he worked with Xavier Dorison on the first volume of the XIII Mystery series, about the life of Mongoose, for which he won the Brussels "St Michel" drawing prize.
In 2010, he drew Page Noire, a one-shot scripted by Denis Lapière and Frank Giroudand, quickly followed in 2012 with another collaboration with Xavier Dorison on Asgard, the tale of a fantastic hunt in the Scandinavian fjords. In 2015, the two authors created the Undertaker series.
